Honor the past, support the future and VOTE!

I know everyone's really busy, especially working parents, and it does take time to vote. I know some feel deep in their bones that the entire political process is a sham and feel it is futile to vote. However YOUR vote does matter and it is not just a right but an HONOR to be able to vote. So honor the past, support the future and VOTE!

No honor for America...trashing the Lincoln Memorial

So it wasn't left like this after Glenn Beck's Rally to Restore Honor - How come those on the left at their little One Nation march can't be respectful? Also you KNOW if the area was left in this condition after Beck's rally every news media in the country would have shown a video like this. However I bet we don't hear a peep about this in the mainstream media when the Leftists do it...

Memorial Day Weekend

Remember this weekend to give Memorial Day the reverence it deserves. Remember the main reason for the holiday (and that it is so much more than just a long weekend off work and BBQs). I think it can both be honored appropriately AND celebrated with friends and loved ones.

Thanks to my relatives John Young, Glenn Miller, Pat Frederick, Bob Carter and Liz Stewart who all served or are serving our great country.

I recently read an article, "5 Ways to Grow Your Local Business With Social Media". What struck me the most about it was that even though it was written with business in mind, it was completely apropos to political campaigns and/or causes. While none of it was earth-shattering or completely new - there definitely were some great reminders of things to try. Take a few minutes and give it a read. Sometimes the best ideas are ones we heard about before but that we just never tried until now.

Now really is the time to make some big moves in promoting your campaign or cause!

After more mammograms and ultrasounds, it was determined that the lumps were probably just benign cysts and no need for further testing at this time. However to be on the safe side I'll be rechecked in March. So I can breathe a sigh of cautious relief ;) Wish they would have left the word "probably" out of their diagnosis but I understand they need to CYA.

So thanks for all your well wishes and prayers. They were greatly appreciated.
